9 suspected IS terrorists killed by security forces in Dhaka

In Bangladesh, 9 suspected terrorists were killed by the police in a gunfight during a joint armed forces operation early this morning in Dhaka's Kalyanpur area. They were killed in a joint operation by RAB, Dhaka Metropolitan Police and SWAT called Storm 26. 

The terrorists were hiding in a five-storey building usign



as den by them near a girls high school. Police sources said the suspected militants hurled bombs and fired gunshots at the police as they approached the hideout. But police retaliated and managed to storm the den and kill all nine suspected militants. Earlier, the police cordoned off the area and sealed all exit points.
