A soccer player is arrested on field after brutally attacking female official

A soccer match in Argentina took a wild turn over the weekend when a player ruthlessly punched an unsuspecting female official in the head from behind and was then arrested on the field.

After a foul towards midfield, referee Dalma Cortadi awarded a yellow card to Cristian Tirone, who plays for the third division Club Deportivo Garmense in Argentina. Tirone was quickly thrown into a fit of



rage.

Though several of his teammates attempted to subdue him and calm him down, Tirone eventually broke loose and ran straight for Cortadi. With her back turned to him, Tirone threw a brutal punch right at the head of the unsuspecting referee.
