Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi: US releases first footage and photos of raid in northern Syria

The US military has released the first footage and photos of the raid in northern Syria in which the leader of the so-called Islamic State group, Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi was killed.

Grainy black-and-white footage showed troops firing

at militants on the ground as they flew towards the compound where he was hiding before they moved in on the ground. President Donald Trump said Baghdadi fled into a tunnel and killed himself by detonating a suicide vest.
