Acting US Defence Secretary arrives in Baghdad

Acting US Defence Secretary Patrick Shanahan arrived in Baghdad Tuesday on an unannounced visit for talks on the issue of continued troop presence following withdrawal from

neighbouring Syria.

He is due to hold talks with Prime Minister Adel Abdel Mahdi and top military advisers and commanders.
