Akash Ambani, son of Reliance Industries chief Mukesh Ambani will announce the new devices. Akash who is on the board of Reliance Jio Infocomm (Jio) will roll out the iPhone 8 and 8 Plus on Friday noon in the telco’s headquarters in Navi Mumbai. 

Ambani and CEO of Apple Tim Cook will address the congregation via video. Both these new phones will be available in India on various e-commerce websites with lucrative offers.

3,000 Redington stores across the country, as well as large format stores such as Croma, Reliance Digital and Vijay Sales will also be stocking iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus if you want to opt for the offline route.

The starting price of these phones is Rs 64,000. Apple has announced that the 64GB and 256GB variant of iPhone 8 will cost Rs 64,000 and Rs 77,000, respectively. Similarly, iPhone 8 Plus 64GB is priced at Rs 73,000, while the 256GB variant will cost you Rs 86,000. Both the phones will go on sale in India at 6 pm IST.
