Algeria supports Saudi in fight against terrorism

Algerian Prime Minister Abdelmalek Sellal yesterday expressed his country’s support for Saudi Arabia in its fight against terrorism, saying that Algerian people will stand against all those who seek to harm the holy places of Islam.

Speaking at the start of the Algerian and Saudi Economic Operators Forum in the Saudi capital Riyadh, Sellalsaid the Algerian people “will not hesitate to



defend the holy places of Islam in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the case of a terrorist threat.”

After he underlined that relations between Algiers and Riyadh were good and strong, he voiced the wish that his visit to Saudi Arabia would give a concrete expression of the bilateral cooperation.

He added that the two countries want to have a deep and diversified cooperation.
