At least 10 people killed in shooting incident at school in Texas

In United States, at least 10 people, mostly students were killed in a shooting incident at a school in Texas yesterday. The incident took place at Santa Fe High School located about 50 kilometres southeast of Houston when a student opened fire.

A law enforcement official said, at least, nine students and a teacher were killed in the gunfire. Ten other students were injured in the shooting. Authorities have



said two people have been detained at Santa Fe High School. 

This is the third school shooting in the past seven days, and the 22nd since the beginning of the year in the US. It is the worst mass shooting in America since February, when 17 people were gunned down at a high school in Parkland, Florida. President Donald Trump expressed concern over the incident.
