In US, at least 105 people have died after Hurricane Helene tore across the state and caused catastrophic flooding. A North Carolina County that includes the mountain city of Asheville reported 30 people killed due to the storm yesterday evening.

Days of driving rain followed Helene slamming into Florida’s Gulf Coast on 26th of this month. The majority of deaths have been confirmed in North and South Carolina where Helene landed as a tropical storm.
