In US, at least 105 people have died after Hurricane Helene tore across the state and caused catastrophic flooding. A North Carolina County that includes the mountain city of Asheville reported 30 people killed due to the storm yesterday evening.
     
Southeastern US states started a massive cleanup and recovery effort yesterday after winds, rain and storm surges from the Category 4 hurricane snuffed out power, destroyed roads and caused catastrophic flooding from Florida to



Virginia.
      
Americans in the Southeast have felt the impact of Hurricane Helene’s devastation across multiple states including, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia. Days of driving rain followed Helene slamming into Florida’s Gulf Coast on 26th of this month. The majority of deaths have been confirmed in North and South Carolina where Helene landed as a tropical storm.
