At least three people were killed in US airstrikes on Yemen’s western province of Hodeidah, as attacks continue on Houthi-held areas. The strikes, late last night, targeted a water project and its building in the Mansouria district, with search efforts ongoing for potential survivors under the rubble.

According to local media, the US also launched airstrikes on multiple locations in the northwestern provinces of Hajjah and Saada. Earlier in the day, fresh strikes hit Mount Nabi Shu’ayb in the Bani Matar district, west of Sanaa, as well as sites in Saada province. No

casualties from those strikes have been reported.

The US military has not commented on the attacks. The Iran-backed Houthis, who control much of northern Yemen, have been engaged in conflict with the internationally recognized government since 2014. The US has been targeting Houthi positions since March 15 to deter attacks on Israeli targets, US Navy vessels, and international shipping lanes.

Last week, President Donald Trump stated that US airstrikes against the Houthis would continue for a long time.
