At least 35 security personnel were killed in clashes with Taliban in Afghanistan's western province of Farah, the Afghan Pajhwok news agency reported on Thursday, without providing further details.
Meanwhile, the TOLO news broadcaster said that three security check posts fell to the Taliban in Shewan, Garani and Aab Khormay areas of Bala
Blook district in Farah province yesterday night.
According to the news outlet, the security forces have confirmed that they suffered losses in clashes with the Taliban.
Farah province has been among the areas most vulnerable to the Taliban's simmering insurgency.
