At least 6 protesters killed by security forces in Iraq

In Iraq, six protesters were killed by security forces when they tried to disperse a demonstration outside the Iranian Consulate in the holy city of Karbala.

The protesters climbed the Consulate's walls, bringing down an Iranian flag



and replacing it with the Iraqi flag on Sunday. They demanded Iran to stop interfering in Iraq's internal affairs. Despite a plea from the Prime Minister, the mass demonstrations against the government continue.
