In Germany, at least two people died following a mass shooting incident at a Mercedes-Benz plant in Sindelfingen city. According to reports, police detained a suspect.

The accused is 53 years old and opened fire on the victims before security workers at the site held him down and handed him over to police. Police said the suspect did not resist



arrest. The motive of the shooter is yet to be known. 

The incident was the latest of several mass shootings in Germany in recent years. The mass shooting incidents have mounted pressure on the German government to consider further tightening the country's already-strict gun laws.
