Austria foreign ministry decides to expel four Russian diplomats

In Austria, the foreign ministry said today that it has decided to expel four Russian diplomats. In a statement, the Ministry announces its decision to revoke the diplomatic status of three staff members of the Russian Embassy in Vienna and one staff member of the Russian Consulate General in Salzburg.



According to media reports, the diplomats are requested to leave the country by 12 April.

Sweden, Denmark, Greece, and Romania are also among the EU countries that have announced this week they are expelling Russian diplomats over the Ukraine issue.
