British Prime Minister, David Cameron, will tender his resignation to the Queen today. Mr. Cameron chaired his final cabinet meeting yesterday.
Theresa May, Home secretary since 2010, is preparing to take over as the second woman Prime Minister of UK. Mrs May had been expecting a nine-week race for the
Tory leadership but rival Andrea Leadsom withdrew on Monday.
Mrs May, who has pledge to make Brexit a success, will appoint her own ministerial team when she takes office. Mrs May said she was honoured and humbled to be taking over and pledged to make a success of the UK's EU exit.
