Large number of Non Resident Indians (NRIs) and representatives from Indian community organizations from across United Kingdom (UK) turned-up for the grand ‘Chenetha Bathukamma and Dasara’ celebrations in London, organised by Telangana Association of United Kingdom (TAUK).

Taking inspiration from BRS working president, KT Rama Rao’s support for the cause of weavers, the TAUK



decided to dedicate the event as ‘Chenetha Bathukamma and Dasara’ for wider support and attention to wear handlooms in every occasion.

Women drawn from all age groups performed Bathukamma dance to traditional songs with great energy. A large number of Telugu families participated in the top 10 gold coins for best Bathukamma and more prizes for every Bathukamma brought to the event.
