More than 388,000 people across Abu Dhabi have been tested since the emirate closed its borders two weeks ago.
The Home Screening programme will also be stepped up this week to ensure vulnerable people can be tested from the comfort of their home.
Meanwhile, Iran on Wednesday reported more than 100 deaths from the coronavirus for a fourth straight day, saying
that gatherings in high-risk provinces have led to a surge in infections.
In China, concerns grew about a new wave of coronavirus infections, with Beijing shutting its schools in an escalation of measures to halt a second outbreak.
Globally, coronavirus cases were above 8 million on Wednesday, with 3.9 million recoveries and more than 443,000 deaths.
