CP thanks Sheikh Mohammed for serving UAE for 50 years

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, has completed a glorious 50 years in serving the nation. As a tribute to the visionary Ruler, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, has penned a touching letter.

"In the Year of Zayed, my brother, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid completes 50 years in serving the nation. (It was 50 years ago that) ... he became the Dubai Police chief. His is a journey filled with giving. He accompanied the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan and Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed Al Maktoum in the school of life, until he himself became a school of leadership, management and life," the letter shared on Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed's social media handles reads.

Acknowledging the letter, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid tweeted: "My brother, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed, thank you for your words and thank you for your kind thoughts. We have dedicated our lives for the nation and in return, we have received love and appreciation from the people. We have pledged to remain loyal to the people of this land."

50 years of pride for the country

Nations and peoples glorify the creators of their achievements and civilisation. They are proud of the achievements of their leaders.

And in the UAE, we are proud of this unique leader, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister



of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai. He is loved and respected by his people, and by everyone in the world. He is my brother, teacher, the companion of my journey.

In the Year of Zayed, my brother, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid completes 50 years of serving the nation. (It was 50 years ago that) ... he became the Dubai Police chief. His is a journey filled with giving. He accompanied the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan and Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed Al Maktoum in the school of life, until he himself became a school of leadership, management and life.

In 50 years, Sheikh Mohammed, you raised the limits of ambitions, invested in the human, established a civilisation and continue reaping the benefits of your achievements along with your people.

In 50 years, Sheikh Mohammed, many things changed around you, but your care, sincerity and love for your country didn't.

I congratulate the generations, including myself, that learned from you. In you, I found the mentor, friend and a loyal supporter.

In the future, we will continue the journey of working and giving. With the will of God, we will raise high the name of our nation. May God protect you for your country, give you a long life and bless your efforts.
