Dengue Cases Rise to 136,161 with 364 Deaths in Philippines

Dengue cases in the Philippines have risen to 1,36,161, with 364 deaths. The country’s Department of Health’s Assistant Secretary Albert Domingo urged the public to be vigilant. Dengue is endemic in the Philippines. Waterborne infectious

diseases, including dengue, usually peak at the start of the rainy season from July to October due to fluctuating weather conditions, flooding, and the accumulation of contaminated water.
