Donald Trump cancels Mike Pompeo's North Korea visit

US President Donald Trump has announced the cancellation of Secretary of State Mike Pompeo's upcoming visit to North Korea. Mr Trump said in a tweet that he has asked Mr Pompeo not to visit the country as he feels that sufficient progress has not been made with respect to the denuclearization of the Korean



Peninsula. 

The US President also took a swipe at China, saying that despite the UN sanctions, Beijing is not helping with the process of denuclearization as it once was, and this is because of Washington's tougher trading stance with the nation.
