Egypt: Dakahlia Governor infected with Coronavirus

Ayman al-Mukhtar, the governor of Dakahlia in Egypt, said today, Monday, that the smear taken from the new Coronavirus is positive.

The General Office of Dakahlia Governorate had witnessed extensive work by the health teams and the Preventive Medicine Department to check the direct and indirect contacts of the director of the Environmental Affairs Department at the

office, after confirming that he was infected with the "Covid-19" disease caused by the emerging coronavirus.

The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health said that the director of the Environmental Affairs Department has transferred to the Isolation Hospital in Kafr El-Zayat City in Dakahlia Governorate after he was infected with the virus.
