Millions of Twitter users have voted in favour of Elon Musk stepping down as the head of Twitter in a poll conducted by the billionaire himself. Earlier, Mr. Musk had posted a poll for Twitter users, asking them to vote on whether he could continue as the CEO of Twitter.
The poll which has now ended received over 17 million votes. Out of these, nearly 57.5 percent of users have voted in favour of Musk stepping down as the head of the microblogging platform, while around 42 percent of
users who participated in the poll voted for him to remain as the Twitter CEO. Musk also stated in the same tweet that he will abide by the results of the poll.
There has been no confirmation on whether Musk would step aside or who the new leader might be till the last reports came in after the poll. Musk also shared a tweet earlier in which he said that all the major policy changes at Twitter would be put to vote.
