UAE-based global developer Emaar Properties has started work on The Address Residences Jumeirah Resort + Spa, an iconic new development which is set to become the tallest tower at Jumeirah Beach Walk in Dubai.
The move comes following the appointment of Middle East Foundation Group as the enabling works contractor for Jumeirah resort development with a built-up area of 255,000 sq m, said Hamptons International, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Emaar Properties.
The Address Residences Jumeirah Resort + Spa is essentially a single tower, arranged in a split formation to maximise light and ensure sweeping views of the Arabian Gulf and Dubai Marina.
This gives the tower the impression of two towers. The building has a series of infinity pools and terraces skillfully arranged in an extensively landscaped oasis to complement the scenic waterfront setting.
On completion, it will be the tallest tower on the beach in the last available land plot for development on Jumeirah Beach Walk, with direct views of the Arabian Gulf, Dubai Marina and Ain Dubai, the world’s largest observation wheel. It is in walking distance of the Dubai Marina Walk, Jumeirah Beach Walk and The Beach.
As per the contract, Middle East Foundation Group will undertake the foundation work, which will feature 22 km of bored piling for the two-tower development besides excavating over 222,000 cu m of earth for the three basement levels, said Hamptons International.
With a distinctive ‘space’ carved out in the centre, the project has three key components: The Address Jumeirah Resort + Spa with 183 rooms and suites, and The Address Residences Jumeirah Resort + Spa, which comprise serviced apartments fully served by The Address Hotels + Resorts, the flagship hotel brand of Emaar Hospitality Group. Both these are located in West Tower, with 75 levels and 303 metres high.
The third component is the residential apartments, ‘The Residences Jumeirah Dubai, Managed by The

Address’ located in the East Tower A welcoming lobby links the two towers.
Ahmad Al Falasi, the managing director of Hamptons International, said: "The award of the enabling works contract to Middle East Foundation Group underlines the commitment to work with best-in-class partners, for the on-schedule delivery of the project."
"As the leading foundation contractor, the company has proven expertise in undertaking large-scale projects. This iconic development has gained strong response from investors to the launch of the first homes – The Residences Jumeirah Dubai, Managed by The Address and the serviced apartments The Address Residences Jumeirah Resort + Spa, and we are committed to its on-schedule delivery," he added.
A spokesperson of Middle East Foundation Group, said the Jumeirah Beach Walk is a spectacular development that is set apart by its location and its elegant design. The two-tower development will be one of the key architectural icons that we are working on in Dubai, having supported several ambitious mixed-use mega-developments already.
"We are committed to completing the excavation works and enabling work as per the schedule," he noted.
Inspired by a ‘La Dolce Vita’ themed interiors, the residences will have distinctive spaces for working, grooming, relaxing and refreshing in addition to offering spectacular views of its surroundings.
The luxury apartments have high-quality fixtures, state-of-the-art entertainment and telecom connectivity. Residents will also have access to more than 100 metres of exclusive beach frontage, and several food & beverage concepts within The Address Jumeirah Resort + Spa including the lounge at the top level and a signature Sky Restaurant.
The development offers easy access to and from Jumeirah Beach Road and Sheikh Zayed Road and is only steps away from Dubai Tram and Metro. The property is set in elegant green landscaped surroundings with outdoor lounges, restaurants and pools.-
