Fire in wooden dhow at Sharjah's Khalid Port contained

A huge fire broke out in a  wooden dhow  at Khalid Port in Sharjah on Saturday evening.  

Colonel Sami Khamis Al Naqbi, Director of Sharjah Civil Defence said the firefighters reached the site within



three minutes. The fire, which began around 6.30pm was quickly brought under control.

 No one was injured in the incident, Al Naqbi said. The dhow was empty at the time it caught fire, he said.
