A Saudi Airlines flight from Riyadh to Hyderabad in India had to make an emergency landing at Muscat International Airport on Thursday after a passenger onboard suffered a heart attack.
Syed Abdul Quddoos, who was flying with his wife and daughter, was rushed to The Royal Hospital
where he died.
Syed had been suffering from chronic heart ailment and was going from Riyadh to India for treatment, said PM Jabir, Indian Social Club's community welfare secretary. The Indian Embassy has been informed and the process to repatriate his body has been initiated, Jabir said.
