French President Macron slapped on face during walkabout

Paris: French President Emmanuel Macron was slapped by a man during a walkabout session with a crowd in the Drome region in southeastern France on Tuesday, an aide said.

Videos going viral on social media showed Macron approach a barrier to shake the hand of a man who slappedhim on the face in the village of Tain-l’Hermitage in the Drome region.
