Future of US-Russian ceasefire in doubt after US-led coalition strikes Syrian army: Russia

Russia has said, the future of the US-Russian ceasefire is in doubt after the US-led coalition struck the Syrian army in Deir al-Zour in eastern Syria. It aid the air strikes proved that there was co-ordination between the US and the Islamic State terror group.

Russia's UN Ambassador Vitaly Churkin said the attack put a very big question mark over the truce's future. About 60 Syrian soldiers



were killed in the air raid by the US-led coalition on Saturday. However, the US military says it may have unintentionally struck Syrian troops while carrying out a raid against the Islamic State.

Meanwhile, four air strikes have hit rebel-held parts of the Syrian city of Aleppo yesterday. UK-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said several people were injured in the air strikes.
