The Georgian nationals will be allowed to visit countries of the European Union for a period of up to 90 days in any 180-day period without a visa starting from 28th of this month. The Georgian Foreign Ministry said in a statement yesterday.
On the 27th of last month, the Council
of the European Union adopted the regulation on visa liberalization for Georgia. Georgia had been striving for visa liberalization with the 28-nation bloc for years.In March last year, the European Commission issued a proposal to waive visas for the Georgians.
