Gunmen kill eight people in Mexico

In Mexico, gunmen killed eight people and wounded two others in Bacalar, a tourism resort in the state of Quintana Roo yesterday. 

Quintana Roo Attorney General's Office said, the victims were travelling in an SUV with tags from Yucatan state when they were



stopped by the gunmen and shot. 

The two wounded people were transported to a hospital in Bacalar, where security has been tightened by authorities. The state has been increasingly plagued by drug-related violence.
