Palestinian group Hamas announced that it will continue to implement the ceasefire deal, including a hostage-prisoner exchange within the agreed time frame. This announcement came after talks in Cairo, where mediators from Egypt and Qatar assured that they will work to remove obstacles hindering the agreement’s
implementation.
Meanwhile, there is no official response from Israel as of yet. Earlier, Israel said the ceasefire will end if Hamas does not return hostages by Saturday. Hamas had earlier said it was postponing releases over what it claimed were Israeli violations.
