Helicopter crashes into building in midtown Manhattan

In the US, a helicopter crashed into the roof of a Manhattan building yesterday afternoon. The pilot died in the incident. According to fire officials, the rooftop fire sparked by the crash was quickly extinguished. Some workers were evacuated from the tower, but none were hurt. 

In a



statement, New York Mayor dismissed the incident as a terrorist act adding that there was no ongoing threat to the city following the incident. National Transportation Safety Board said it was gathering information to determine whether it would investigate the crash.
