Indian Consulate in Dubai urges Indians to cooperate with local authorities on last rites formalities

The UAE authorities have advised the Indian Mission in Dubai to expedite the formalities required in the cases of death of the Indian expats. In a statement issued yesterday, the Indian Consulate in Dubai urged the Indian nationals living in the country to cooperate with the local authorities in completing the formalities required in death cases so that the last rites or the



repatriation of the bodies can be arranged.

The Indian Consulate has urged the Indian nations to report any death cases on their helpline numbers or send an email.

In case of Covid-19 related deaths, the last rites have to be performed in the UAE as per the local laws.
