International Court of Justice (ICJ) has ruled that Russia should suspend its military operations in Ukraine immediately. The ICJ in its order said that Russian Federation shall immediately suspend the military operations that it commenced on 24 February 2022 in the territory of Ukraine. The ICJ said that both Parties shall refrain from any action which might aggravate or extend the dispute before the Court or make it more difficult to resolve.

Following the ICJ order, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that Ukraine gained a complete victory in its case against Russia at the International Court of Justice. Zelenskyy added that

the ICJ order is binding under international law. Russia must comply immediately. Ignoring the order will isolate Russia even further.

Meanwhile, President Vladimir Putin said that Russia would achieve its goals in Ukraine and would not submit to what he called a Western attempt to achieve global dominance and dismember Russia. Putin said Russia is ready to discuss neutral status for Ukraine.

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Psekov said that it is too early to disclose any set of potential agreements between Moscow and Kyiv on resolving the conflict in Ukraine.
