Iran condemns US-led airstrikes on Yemen, lethal attack in Pakistan

Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Esmaeil Baghaei strongly condemned airstrikes by the US-led navy coalition on northern Yemen as well as a lethal attack in southwestern Pakistan.

The “ongoing and repeated military aggression” by the United States, Britain, and Israel against Yemen “constitute a clear



violation of Yemen’s national sovereignty and territorial integrity, and contradict the principles of international law and the United Nations Charter,” Baghaei said in a statement on Sunday.

“These aggressive actions would lead to increased insecurity and instability in the West Asia region,” he added.
