In West Asia, Israeli warplanes raided the al-Qaa Jousieh border crossing between Lebanon and Syria, resulting in its closure. According to media reports, Israeli warplanes fired four air-to-ground missiles in the Al-Qaa axis in eastern Lebanon. Lebanese Minister of Public Works and Transport Ali Hamieh confirmed that the crossing is now out of service.
On the other hand, a rocket fired from Lebanon hit
northern Israel’s Druze town. According to reports, at least five people were injured, with two being in critical condition. The Israel Defence Forces (IDF) said the strike was part of a barrage that included about 30 rockets, which were launched from Lebanon at locations in the Upper Galilee area. The force said some rockets were intercepted and hits were identified.
