William and Kate met not only the famous former player, now the country's prime minister, but also other cricket greats including another former Pakistan fast bowler, Waqar Younis.

They were special guests at a birthday party at the SOS Children's Village, a charitable organisation providing homes for around 150 orphaned young boys and girls.
On her trip in 1991, Diana visited the Kinnaird College for Women in Lahore and an all-women school.

The duke's mother also chose green when she visited the site in 1991.
When she arrived on Monday, Kate opted for a turquoise ombre shalwar kameez by Catherine Walker - a designer favoured by Diana.
Visits
William and Kate visited some of the same places his mother did, including the Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital and Research Centre in Lahore. The facility was the brainchild of Mr Khan, who began work on it after his mother died from the disease.
They then toured the Badshahi Mosque, the most historic Islamic site in Lahore, set in the heart of the Walled City, which the Princess of Wales visited in 1991.
