Riyadh: According to an order issued by King Salman bin Abdulaziz, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) has decided that March 11 will be celebrated annually as National Flag Day to honor the Kingdom's national flag.

On March 11, 1937, which falls on Dhul Hijjah 27, 1355 AH.
The value of the nation flag extends throughout history of the Saudi Arabia, since its founding in 1139 AH – 1727 AD, which bears Islamic declaration of faith in middle, symbolizing the message of peace, and the religion of Islam.
