Prime Minister of Nepal KP Sharma Oli has said that his India visit was significant and fruitful.
Talking to media persons at Tribhuvan international airport in Kathmandu last night after returning from 3 days India visit, Mr Oli said that discussion with Indian leaders was cordial and positive.
PM Oli said that his India visit has further strengthened friendly relations between both the countries. He said that the visit has increased confidence between India and Nepal and bilateral relations will move forward in a new direction on the basis of
equality, mutual respect and interest and enhance cooperation.
During India visit, PM Oli held delegation-level talks with Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday. The two Prime Ministers comprehensively reviewed the entire spectrum of multifaceted bilateral ties.
Both sides agreed to further strengthen bilateral relations in key areas of border security, connectivity, trade and agriculture. This was the first foreign visit of Mr Oli after assuming the office of Prime Minister in February.
