Maldives: Several killed in fire in Male

Male: In the Maldives, several people were killed in a fire in the capital, Male yesterday. The High Commission of India in the Maldives said, it was deeply saddened by the incident.

According to initial reports, the fire originated from a vehicle repair garage on the ground floor of a building. A fire department official said that it took four hours to put out the blaze.
