Massive explosion in Italy's Milan; one person injured, several vehicles on fire

In Italy's Milan, a van transporting oxygen gas canisters exploded injuring one person and setting ablaze nearby cars and motorbikes. Milan Mayor Giuseppe Sala ruled out any foul play and informed that no casualty took place in the incident. The mayor informed that the van driver told the fire brigade that the fire started from



his vehicle's engine and later resulted in an explosion of cylinders. Firefighters managed to extinguish the fire quickly limiting the damages. 

According to reports, the fire appeared to have spread to a nearby building which was evacuated.
