Beijing, Aug 12 (Prensa Latina) A total of 2,500 exhibitors from 93 countries and regions will participate in the XXV Beijing International Book Fair from August 22 to 26, local press reported today.
According to the state news agency Xinhua, more than 300 thousand recently published books from around the world will be presented at the meeting.
According to the organizers, nearly five thousand books and publications will show China's achievements in the Reform and Opening to commemorate the 40th anniversary
of the initiation of this policy.
Morocco, the guest of honor this year, will exhibit around 800 types of books and will hold several events to show African culture, as well as its relations with China under the Strip and Route initiative.
In addition, an exhibition of children's books will be held for the first time as part of the Book Fair.
The event is co-sponsored by government departments and associations, including the state press administration and the China Writers Association.
