Sharjah: A 33-year-old Jordanian woman and her three-year-old daughter died after they were run over by a speeding car in Al Qulaya'ah area in Sharjah, an official at Sharjah Police told Gulf News.
The Afghan driver who caused the accident was also admitted to the hospital.
He was in serious condition.
The police operation room received call on Wednesday, at around 2pm, reporting the incident.
Police patrols and paramedics dispatched immediately to the scene of the incident.

Sharjah: A 33-year-old Jordanian woman and her three-year-old daughter died after they were run over



by a speeding car in Al Qulaya'ah area in Sharjah, an official at Sharjah Police told Gulf News.
The Afghan driver who caused the accident was also admitted to the hospital.
He was in serious condition.

The Jordanian woman, identified A.S.M. and her daughter G.Z.A., were pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.
The mother and her daughter were crossing the road when they were hit by a speeding car driven by the Afghani man.
The driver tried to avoid a collision but failed to do so and his car crashed into a wall.
The driver was moved to Al Qassimi Hospital.
Meanwhile, the bodies of the woman and her daughter were moved to Al Kuwaiti Hospital.
Police are investigating the incident.
