Motorist burns to death in horrific accident in Dubai

Dubai: An Emirati motorist was burnt to death in a horrific traffic accident on Emirates road, police said on Thursday.
The accident involving two vehicles happened around 11am on Emirates Road in the Sharjah direction.
Brigadier Saeed Hamad Bin Sulaiman, director of Al Rashidiya police station, said the main reason of the accident was speeding by the Emirati motorist.
“The main reason was speeding and not paying



attention to the road. He crashed into the back of a lorry and his car caught fire and he died inside the car,” Brigadier Bin Sulaiman told Gulf News.
Police patrols, Dubai Civil Defence and ambulance rushed to the scene and put out the blaze. An investigation was carried out by Dubai Traffic Prosecution.
Brigadier Bin Sulaiman urged motorists to be careful while driving and follow traffic instructions and pay more attention on the road.
