No-confidence motion against Sri Lankan govt defeated

A no-confidence motion against the Sri Lankan government was defeated in parliament by 27 votes.

A total of 119 members voted against the motion while 92 members voted in

favour of no-confidence motion.

The debate on the motion continued for two days and voting took place last evening.
