North Korea will take part in Tokyo Olympics: Kim Jong Un

Kim Jong Un is committed to sending a North Korean team to the Tokyo Olympics in 2020 and the Beijing Winter Games 2022, the Olympics chief said Saturday after a rare meeting with the leader of the nuclear-armed regime in Pyongyang.

“They announced (to) us that



they will definitely participate in the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020 as well at the Olympic Winter Games Beijing 2022,” International Olympic Committee chief Thomas Bach told reporters after landing in Beijing following Friday’s “fruitful” talks with Kim Jong Un.
