The Kremlin has said yesterday that North Korean leader Kim Jong Un will pay an official state visit to Russia in the coming days. Confirming the visit, North Korea's state-run media, the Korean Central News Agency also reported that Mr Kim would be visiting Russia upon invitation of Russian President Vladimir Putin.
Meanwhile, South Korean media also said that North Korean leader has begun his journey to Vladivostok. Citing a government official, it said that the armoured
train that Mr Kim uses for foreign visits appears to have departed from Pyongyang.
On the other hand, Russia's TASS news agency also reported that President Vladimir Putin has, today, embarked on a two-day trip to Vladivostok, a port city near eastern country's border with North Korea.
The meeting between the two leaders is expected to take place as early as on Tuesday local time.
