Obama officially endorses Hillary Clinton as Democratic presidential nominee

US President Barack Obama has officially endorsed Hillary Clinton as the Democratic Party presidential nominee. His endorsement came after meeting Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders yesterday who has been battling Mrs Clinton for the nomination.
