White House has said President Donald Trump will attend the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland next month. White House press secretary Sarah Sanders said at a press briefing in Washington yesterday that a delegation led by U.S. Secretary of the Treasury Steven Mnuchin would travel with the president to the annual talks held at a Swiss ski resort.
Trump's daughter Ivanka will also participate as part of the US delegation. Jared Kushner, Trump's
advisor and son-in-law, along with Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, and Secretary of Commerce Wilbur Ross are among the members of the delegation.
It will be the second time that the Republican president would attend Davos, after taking his "America First" agenda to the global business elite last year. The WEF Annual Meeting will take place in Davos-Klosters, Switzerland from January 22 to 25 in 2019.
