President Obama calls PM Modi, discusses climate change

US President Barack Obama telephoned Prime Minister Narendra Modi to discuss the progress made in climate change negotiations currently underway in Paris. White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest told reporters in Washington that Mr Obama yesterday discussed the ongoing



negotiations with Mr Modi. Both the leaders held talks in Paris about the issue last week. 

Earnest said the US President is closely following the developments in Paris where more than 180 countries are trying to hammer out a deal on the climate change.
