Russia has said that it remains ready for an equal and mutually respectful dialogue regarding its conflict with Ukraine. Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov said that Russia is waiting for signals that have yet to arrive.  President Donald Trump, yesterday,  warned of fresh sanctions against Russia unless it agreed to a deal to end its nearly three-year conflict with

Ukraine.

Dmitry Peskov added that Russia sees nothing new in U.S. President Donald Trump’s threats to impose sanctions. The response comes after a comment from Russia’s deputy UN Ambassador Dmitry Polyanskiy yesterday, who mentioned that the Kremlin would need to know what Trump wants in a deal to end the conflict before taking any further steps.
