Russia Shoots Down 19 Ukrainian Drones Over Kursk Region Amid Escalating Cross-Border Attacks

The Russian Defense Ministry has said yesterday that it shot down 19 Ukrainian drones over the Kursk region last night, along the border between the two countries. It marked the second consecutive day that Ukraine has focused a large attack on the area. The ministry said, it shot down a total of three drones over Voronezh, as well as nine over the Belgorod region, four over Bryansk and three over Leningrad.

Ukraine has used aerial drones to attack areas in Russia, particularly along the Ukraine-Russia border.

On the other hand, Ukraine’s military said that Russia attacked overnight with a guided missile and 10 aerial drones. It said, Ukrainian air defense shot down the missile and nine of the drones, with intercepts taking place over the Dnipropetrovsk, Kherson and Kirovohrad regions.
